SEMH Learning Mentor

We are currently looking for experienced Learning Mentors, Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work on a one to one basis with students, who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties on a Full Time basis starting over the next couple of months. The School The school is a unique educational provision, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 7 and 16 years old. The school caters for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, who find mainstream education difficult and prides itself on recognising young people’s emotions. The Candidate It is essential that you have: Experience of working with children within or without a school setting A strong desire to help children achieve their potential Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, PECS, Makaton and/or Team Teach Ambition to grow and progress with education Experience working in specialist schools such as SEN schools or Pupil Referral Units If you are looking for a challenging, but reward new role, please feel free to contact me on the number below to find out more or to apply for immediate consideration.
